Theft Investigation of Kenlake Marina in Aurora, Ky

(Aurora, Ky.) -- On July 10th, 2010 at approximately 11:29 am, the Kentucky State Police began investigating a series of thefts and vandalism to boats at Kenlake Marina in Aurora, Ky. At least twenty boats were boarded and thefts have been reported from four boats so far and three other boats were vandalized. These incidents occurred between July 4th and July 10th. Kentucky State Police expects other victims to come forward. Most of the thefts and attempted thefts involve televisions, stereo equipment, and marine household items. Kentucky State Police requests anyone with knowledge of thefts and vandalism to contact Kentucky State Police Post 1 at (270) 856-3721. Kentucky State Police Trooper Brad Haley was assisted by Kentucky Fish and Wildlife.
