(Hickory, Ky.) -- Walter P. Brewer Jr. was driving east on KY 164, Roaring Springs Road, about one half mile inside Trigg County in a silver 2008 Nissan Altima. His wife, Joan Brewer, was his passenger. James D. Kern was driving a 1996 Peterbilt semi truck pulling a tanker trailer eastbound on KY 164.
