New Troopers assigned to Post 16-Henderson

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Five new Troopers are assigned to the Henderson post for duty. All five graduated from the Kentucky State Police Academy in Frankfort and are assigned to Post 16 Henderson. These new troopers will soon be patrolling the six counties (Union, Henderson, Daviess, McLean, Ohio and Hancock) comprised of Post 16.

Graduated are:

Trooper Jared BeauchampJared Beauchamp, Morganfield, (Union County) KY native. Beauchamp served as a Morganfield Police Officer in 2001 through 2005. In 2005, Beauchamp then served as a Deputy Sheriff for the Union County Sheriff's Department.


Trooper Jerry ClantonJerry Clanton, Vine Grove, (Hardin County) KY native. Clanton graduated from North Hardin Christian School in 1997. He furthered his education by attending and graduating from Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.


Trooper Jared ClemonsJared Clemons, Leitchfield, (Grayson County) KY native. Clemons is a 2006 graduate of Grayson County High School and graduated from Berea College and KCTCS.



Trooper Joshua DickenJoshua Dicken, Greensburg, (Green County) KY native. In 2007, Dicken graduated from Green County High School. Dicken later graduated from Lindsey Wilson College.



Trooper Anthony P. Hardin IIAnthony P. Hardin II, Vine Grove, (Hardin County) KY native. Hardin graduated from North Hardin Christian Academy in 2000. He also graduated from Sullivan University.


These new troopers will undergo an extensive field-training period with an experienced trooper for a minimum of eight weeks. After the field training period is over, they will be assigned to various counties within Post 16.
