Criminal Arrest in Forest Mississippi

(Henderson, Ky.) -- In October of 2009, the Kentucky State Police received a complaint from Ohio County advising of missing funds from the city of Rockport. An investigation was launched, in which it was discovered that former Rockport treasurer, Traci Carter embezzled funds from the city of Rockport during a 2 year period. An arrest was made by the Forest, Mississippi Police Department last week and Ms. Carter was extradited to Kentucky and is now lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
