Felony Drug Arrest in Hancock County

(Henderson, Ky.) -- While traveling on Hawesville Easton Road in Hancock County, KSP detectives Matt Conley and Louis Weber observed a marijuana plant growing in a yard at Hawesville Easton Road. The detectives conducted an investigative interview with the homeowner, who was later identified as Daniel Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan gave the detectives consent to search the property and residence. 45 marijuana plants were located along with approximately one pound of processed marijuana. Also located in the residence were two firearms, digital scales, a small amount of salvia, prescription pills. baggies, and other items of drug paraphernalia. Det. Conley arrested Daniel and Karen Sullivan and they were lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center. They were both charged with cultivating marijuana (5 plants or more) 2nd offense, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, 1st offense. Kentucky State Police was assisted by the Hancock County Sheriff Department.
