One Injured in a Motorcycle Collision on Highway 2153

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Mr. Robert E. Bucher was operating a 2000 Honda Motorcycle on Highway 2153 near Persimmon Ridge Road. Mr. Bucher stated that he attempted to avoid a small animal in the roadway and as he did he lost control of the motorcycle due to loose gravel at the edge of the roadway. Mr. Bucher and the motorcycle slid down the roadway a short distance before impacting an earth embankment. Bucher was transported by ambulance to Methodist Hospital Union County where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
