Two Injured in a Two Vehicle Collision on KY 54

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Krista Capps was operating a 2005 Jeep traveling east bound on KY 54 near old highway 54. Harold R. Bratcher was operating a 1996 Chevy S-10 traveling west bound on KY 54 also approaching old highway 54. Mr. Bratcher attempted to pass a vehicle that was directly in front of his vehicle. Mr. Bratcher then crossed the center line of KY 54 to make the pass and struck Ms. Capps by side swiping her vehicle. Ms. Capps vehicle exited the roadway and rolled over several times before coming to final rest. Ms. Capps and another passenger were transported to Owensboro Medical Health System for treatment.
