One Injured in a Two Vehicle Collision on US 431

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Jeremie Renfrow was traveling northbound on US 431, approximately one mile south of Owensboro, KY. (near Petit). Joseph Clark was also on US 431 traveling south. Mr. Renfrow fell asleep and crossed the centerline where his 1987 Ford Ranger struck Mr. Clark's 2000 Freightliner semi in a head-on fashion.

Mr. Renfrow sustained injury to his head and face area and was taken by ambulance to Owensboro Medical Health Systems.

Mr. Clark was not injured. Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer Mike Curtis determined that speed and alcohol was not a factor in the collision.
