Non-Injury DUI Collision in Ohio County

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Ms. Christina Moore was traveling on Highland Drive in McHenry when she lost control of her vehicle and was unable to stop at the stop sign at KY 1245. The vehicle slid across the railroad tracks and into a guardrail which left her vehicle immobile with the back end sitting on the tracks. Within a few minutes, a CFX train was heading towards the vehicle. Ms. Moore was unable to move the vehicle off the tracks and abandoned the vehicle. The train struck the unoccupied vehicle. No one was injured.

Alcohol was a contributing factor and Ms. Moore was arrested for DUI. She was lodged at the Ohio County Jail.
