One Injured in a Two Vehicle Collision on the Breathitt Parkway

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Timothy Stevens was traveling southbound on the Breathitt Parkway, approximately six miles south of Henderson, KY. Mary Cook was also on the Breathitt Parkway traveling southbound. For an unknown reason, Mr. Stevens failed to see Ms. Cook and ran into the rear of her 2007 GMC Budget Rental Cargo Van. After impact, Mr. Stevens 2010 Chevrolet Impala exited the parkway and struck an earth embankment before coming to final rest.

Mary Cook was taken by ambulance to Methodist Hospital in Henderson with complaints of head and neck injury. No other participants were injured.
