Two Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on Ky 696

Date of News Release: 03/26/2010

(Clinton County, Ky) -- An injury collision occurred at 12:23 a.m. on Friday, March 26, 2010 on Ky 696, 6 miles South of Albany. A 1996 Jeep operated by Chris Stinson, age 50 of Albany who was not belted, was traveling Eastbound on Ky 696 at a high rate of speed causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and overturning, coming to rest in a field. A passenger, Joshua Stinson, age 31 of Albany who was not belted was transported to Clinton County Hospital along with the driver for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Trooper David Long is investigating. Clinton County Sheriff Department, Clinton County EMS, and Clinton County Fire/Rescue assisted at the scene.
