One Injured in a Single DUI Vehicle Collision on KY 527

(Marion County, Ky) -- Injury collision occurred at 3:45p.m. on Ky 527, in the limits of St Francis. Deborah Swift, age 53, of Lebanon, was belted, and was operating a 2003 Mitsubishi. Swift was traveling North Bound on Ky 527. Swifts' vehicle left the roadway on the right side, overcorrected, crossed into the South Bound lane and left the roadway, striking a tree. Swift was transported to Springview Hospital by Marion County EMS for treatment of minor injuries. Swift was charged with DUI and cited to Marion District Court.

Trooper Brian Coyt investigated. He was assisted at the scene by Trooper John Adams.
