Three Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision

(Columbia, Ky.) -- Trooper Tracy Haynes is investigating a collision that occurred 13 miles East of Columbia on Abrell Road at 7:15 a.m. on 2/03/2010.

Melissa McGowan 38 of Russell Springs was operating 2003 Dodge Stratus. While southbound on Abrell Road she lost control due to ice on the roadway. The vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a tree. Two passengers Roger N. McDonald age 29 of Columbia and Ester L. Hunt age 46 of Columbia, along with the driver were belted. All three were treated and released from Westlake Hospital in Columbia.
