One Killed in a Two Vehicle Collision on Ebenezer Road

(Columbia, Ky.) -- Trooper John Boyd is investigating a fatal collision that occurred Monday morning at 9:06AM, three miles South of Greensburg on Ebenezer Road.

Tamela Jones, age 49 of Greensburg was traveling East on Ebenezer Road in a 2002 Ford Contour. Timothy M. Embry, age 37 of Greensburg was traveling West on Ebenzer Road in a 1999 Kenworth dump truck. The two vehicles met in a curve and collided head on.

Ms. Jones was not wearing a seat belt, she was pronounced dead at the scene by the Green County Coroner. Mr. Embry was wearing a seat belt and not injured.

Trooper Boyd was assisted at the scene by Trooper Clint Walker, KSP Detective Israel Slinker, CVE Officer Jason Morris, Green County Sheriff's Department, Green County EMS and Rescue. The investigation continues.
