Date of News Release:12/15/2010

Brandon Pack(Ashland, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police in Ashland have arrested three Lawrence County residents in connection with two separate burglaries of the Louisa Church of God located at Swan Lane just outside the city limits of Louisa. Trooper Eric Gibson responded to both burglaries of the church which occurred during the evening hours of the 13th and 14th. Thieves gained entry by prying open one of the doors to the church. Once inside, the suspects took wrapped Christmas presents that had been donated to the church to distribute to needy families in Lawrence County. Also taken was a set of stereo speakers. Trooper Gibson and Detective Mike Murriell were able to locate enough evidence at the scene to determine who was involved with the break-ins.

The three suspects charged include two male juveniles and one adult (Brandon Pack age 18 of Louisa, KY). All three were charged on 12-14-2010 with one count of Burglary 3rd Degree, Class D Felony. Pack was lodged in the Big Sandy Detention Center. One juvenile was transported and lodged in the Boyd County Juvenile Detention Center while the other juvenile was cited to court.

A portion of the stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner.
