February Activity Report From Post 14

(Ashland, Ky.) -- During the month of February 2010, there were --34- motor vehicle collisions investigated by State Police working out of the Ashland Post in the four counties of Boyd, Greenup, Carter, and Lawrence.

During February of 2010 there were 3 fatalities in the Post 14 area, which occurred in Boyd (1) and Carter (2) Counties compared to 2 in Lawrence County in February 2009. Statewide fatalities stand at 92 compared to 117 for the same time period in 2009.
