Date of News Release: 05/20/2010

(Hazard, Ky.) -- On Wednesday, May 20, 2010, Kentucky State Police Post 13 in Hazard received a call that a masked subject had come into the Fourseam Liquor Store in Perry County, at approximately 12:00 AM. An employee at the store advised that the subject entered the store wearing a gorilla mask and a black hooded sweatshirt. The masked subject, who appeared to be a white male, had his hands inside the sweatshirt, in front of his body, giving the appearance of his being armed with a possible weapon. The perpetrator ended up fleeing the store without obtaining any money or items. Troopers, who were in the vicinity of this location, responded within minutes of the call, but were unable to locate any persons or vehicles in or around the store.

The suspect is described as being a white male, approximately 5'8" tall and weighing around 155 pounds. Trooper Ronnie Long is continuing this investigation. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to contact Kentucky State Police Post 13 in Hazard.
