Fugitive From Other States Arrested

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- On November 15, 2010 at 1130 AM Trooper Hunter Martin of Post 12 Frankfort conducted a traffic stop in Shelbyville KY. The operator of the vehicle did not have a drivers license or identification and gave the trooper a false name and date of birth. The Trooper could not verify the identity of the suspect and attempted to place him under arrest for not having his license in his possession. The suspect resisted arrest and attempted to flee on foot. The suspect was taken into custody and further investigation identified the suspect as Charles Boswell of Shelbyville KY, a fugitive from justice in 4 states, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Colorado. Boswell was lodged in the Shelby County Detention Center and charged with the following offenses: Excessive Window Tint, Obstructed Vision or View, License to Be in Possession, No Operators License, Giving a False Name and Address, Theft of Identity, Fleeing or Evading Police, Resisting Arrest, Escape 3rd and Attempted Escape 3rd. He was wanted out of two Indiana Counties for two separate felony theft charges. He was wanted out of two Colorado counties for a Felony Fleeing case and a Felony Damage to Property case. He was wanted of Kentucky for failing to appear for several traffic offenses.
