Drug Investigation Leads to a Scott County Woman Being Charged a Second Time on Drug Charges

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- An undercover Kentucky State Police Drug investigation lead to the arrest of Brenda J. Gaither age 52, of Georgetown, KY. On Monday, March 15, 2010 Kentucky State Police Drug Detectives went to Mrs. Gaither residence in Georgetown and served a Scott County Indictment warrant for trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree (pills).
While arresting Mrs. Gaither on the original trafficking charges further investigation lead to the seizure of 41 prescription pills and $1,319, 00 in cash. She was charged with an additional trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree (pills) from on the current drugs located at the time of her arrest. She was lodged in the Scott County Detention Center.
