Scott County Clerk's Office Investigation

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- The Kentucky State Police Frankfort Post received a complaint about missing funds from the Scott County Clerk's Office in January 2010. The investigation has revealed that Lori A. Cain of Cynthiana, KY committed the offence of Theft by Deception over $500.00 while she was employed at the Scott County Clerk's Office.

On Thursday, January 28, 2010, investigating Trooper Joey Johnson charged Lori A. Cain with one count of Theft by Deception. The investigation is ongoing.
