Death Investigation in Pulaski County
Date of News Release: 11/20/10
(London, Ky.) -- On November 20, 2010 at approximately 8:07 AM, the Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London, responded to a single traffic crash on US 27 north at mile marker 20 north of Somerset in Pulaski County.
Upon arrival Trooper Chris Ison discovered a 1998, Ford, F-150, pickup truck, operated by Homer S. Moore, 57, of Eubank, KY facing southbound on the northbound shoulder of US 27.
Due to the minimal amount of vehicle damage, and the condition the operator was found in, it was believed the operator suffered some type of medical emergency rather than a traffic crash.
Moore was transported to the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for treatment of his ailment, but was pronounced dead, at 9:00 AM, by the Emergency Room Physician.
An autopsy is expected to be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
Trooper Chris Ison is conducting the investigation and was assisted by the Pulaski County EMS.
