Scam Alert for the Fallen Trooper Memorial

(London, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police Post 11, London is investigating reports of a scam that targets victims through telephone calls requesting donations to the Fallen Trooper Memorial.

The caller claims to be calling for the Kentucky State Police or the Kentucky State Police Professional Association. Neither entity is conducting telephone solicitations.

Anyone receiving telephone calls of this type should disregard the call and if they have any questions are urged to contact their local State Police Post or the Kentucky State Police Professional Association at 1-502-875-1625.
