Robbery Investigation in McCreary County

Composite drawing of perpetrator, click here to enlarge in a new window(London, Ky.) -- On Friday May 14, 2010 at 2:30 PM the Kentucky State Police, Post 11, London received a report of a Robbery at a residence on Fanchester Heights Road in McCreary County.

Upon arrival Detective Billy Correll learned the victim had returned home and discovered a dark blue over tan colored SUV, displaying a Tennessee license plate, in the residence's driveway.

Upon entering the residence the victim was confronted by an unknown male described as: approximately 19 years old, dark complexion (possibly Hispanic), 5'2" to 5'4" in height, slender built with short dark hair.

The perpetrator attacked the victim and received a laceration to one of his hands during the altercation before fleeing the residence.

The victim received non-life threatening injuries during the altercation and did not require medical attention.

No other information on the victim will be released.

Detective Correll is continuing the investigation and was assisted by Trooper Phillip Hayes and the McCreary County Sheriff's Department.
