Robbery Investigation at Allen Double Kwik

(Pikeville, Ky.) -- At approximately 0252 hours Post 9 received a call from a clerk at the Allen Double Kwik stating they had been robbed at knifepoint. A male subject wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans entered the store, brandished a knife and demanded money from the clerk. Subject fled the scene on foot. Case is still under investigation by Trooper Cassandra Mullins. She was assisted at the scene by Troopers Austin Hicks, Wes Collins, Sgt Randy Woods, Prestonsburg Police Department, and Floyd County Sheriff's Department.
