Robbery Investigation at Meta Double Kwik

(Pikeville, Ky.) -- On 07/14/2009, Post 9 received a 911 from the Meta Double Kwik advising a white male subject approximately 6'0" and 200 lbs wearing jeans, a black t-shirt, and a black paint ball mask entered the store armed with a handgun demanding money and two cartons of Marlboro cigarettes. The clerk emptied the drawer and gave him the cash and the cigarettes he demanded. The man then fled in a black Ford Ranger truck traveling towards Pikeville on the old US 119. Witness stated the man had black hair and a watch suntan line on his left wrist. The robbery is under investigation by Trooper Jason Merlo and the Kentucky State Police.
