Marijuana Grow Investigation in Pike County
Date of News Release: 07/09/2009
(Pikeville, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police received an anonymous tip of marijuana growing in and around a residence in the Brushy community of Pike County. Post 9 Troopers Jimmy Nolte, Hoyt Smith, and Jacob Stinnett were able to locate and confiscate 116 marijuana plants in and around the residence. Incident is still being investigated by Trooper Jimmy Nolte. No arrests have been made at this time.
