Robbery Investigation of the Harold Double Kwik in Floyd County

(Pikeville, Ky.) -- Post 9 received a 911 call from the Harold Double Kwik in Floyd County advising a male subject approximately 5'10" and 190 lbs wearing black pants, a long sleeve black shirt, a black beanie hat with white pantyhose over his face entered the store armed with a handgun demanding money. The clerk emptied her drawer and gave it to him. The man then fled on foot in an unknown direction of travel. The robbery is under investigation by Detective Kevin Newsome and the Kentucky State Police.
