Armed Robbery at the Ivel BP
Date of News Release: 04/28/2009
(Pikeville, Ky.) -- An anonymous male subject entered into the Ivel BP Doublekwik wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, white gloves, white pantyhose over his face, and acid wash-colored jeans. The perpetrator brandished a pistol, demanded money from the clerk, and fled on foot from the store with an undetermined amount of cash. There were no injuries and the incident is still under investigation by Detective Jason Dials of the Kentucky State Police post in Pikeville.
