Armed Robbery Investigation

(Pikeville, Ky.) - Post 9 Pikeville received 911 call advising the Cardinal Country Store had been robbed. A male subject wearing blue jeans, dark colored sweatshirt, concealing his face, pointed a firearm to the clerk demanding money. The subject left on foot with cash and cigarettes in unknown direction. The case is under investigation by Detective Kevin Newsome U/648. Assisting Detective Newsome were Sgt Peppi U/226, Sgt Stapleton U/185, Trooper Hicks U/498 Trooper Hicks U/698 and Trooper Little U/761.
