Murder Investigation at Hippo in Floyd County

(Pikeville, Ky.) - Post 9 received a call of a male subject that had been shot on a strip mine site at Hippo in Floyd County. Officers arrived and found John Salisbury suffering from two gunshot wounds. He was transported to St. Joes at Martin where he was pronounced dead. Robie Lee Miller age 27 of Martin has been charged with murder. Robie Dean Miller, age 44 also of Martin has been charged with tampering with physical evidence and falsely reporting an incident. Both subjects are lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center. Case is still under investigation by Detective Jason Dials.
