One Killed in a Single Vehicle Collision in Montgomery County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- Stacy M. Bratton of Mt. Sterling was traveling west on US460 in a 2002 Chevy Trail Blazer when he attempted take the 110 eastbound entrance ramp to I-64. Mr. Bratton lost control of the vehicle on the entrance ramp and struck a utility pole causing him to be ejected from the vehicle. Mr. Bratton suffered life threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased by Montgomery County Coroner Wally Johnson at the collision scene at 2305 hours. Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the accident. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Aaron Brown.
