Fatal Collision on KY 844 in Morgan County
Date of News Release: 07/29/2009
(Morehead, Ky.) -- Robert Helton was operating a 2001 Chevrolet pickup eastbound on KY 844 when the vehicle dropped off the right shoulder. Mr. Helton over corrected the vehicle crossing into the westbound lane, the vehicle left the roadway striking a tree. Mr. Helton was pronounced deceased at Morgan County ARH Hospital by Morgan County Coroner Kenny Perry. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Royce Collett.
