Arrests Made in Jackson County Home Invasion Robbery

(Richmond, KY) - On January 13, 2009, at approximately 1443 hours, Detective Joie Peters, Unit 256, acting on leads received from the local community and from information yielded through a joint investigation with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, arrested four (4) persons in connection with a home- invasion armed robbery that occurred at 237 Lower Dry Fork Road in Jackson County on January 10, 2009 at approximately 0100 hours. The 4 accused individuals charged in this investigation are as follows:

  • Larry Daniel Johnson - DOB 11/29/1990 - Sand Gap, KY
  • Ronald Whitley Witt - DOB 09/18/1988 - Sand Gap, KY
  • Adam Wesley Tudor - DOB 11/24/1987 - Sand Gap, KY
  • Korey Johnson - DOB 10/071974 - Sand Gap, KY

These individuals were charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment 1st Degree, Tampering With Physical Evidence and Theft By Unlawful Taking Over $300 on case 07-09-0029. They have been lodged in the Jackson County Detention Center. Subsequent to these arrests information was discovered which led to arrests on 4 additional burglary cases being investigated by Kentucky State Police and 2 additional burglary cases being investigated by the Jackson County Sheriff's Department. Of those additional cases, all occurred within the Sand Gap community in Jackson County, KY. The investigation is being continued by Detective Joie Peters, Unit 256.
