Grant County Search Warrant Executed

(Dry Ridge, Ky.) - On February 26, 2009, at approximately 1750 hours, Kentucky State Police Detectives along with U.S. Postal Service Agents, the Buffalo Trace Task Force, the Pendleton County Sheriff Craig Peoples, and Deputies from the Grant County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 275 Cherokee Trail in Dry Ridge. The search warrant resulted in the seizure of drugs, firearms, surveillance equipment, drug paraphernalia, and cash. Michael D. Mason, 43 years of age, of Dry Ridge along with his wife, Wendy Alton-Mason, 34 Years of age, also of Dry Ridge were both charged with one count of Trafficking a Controlled Substance 1^st Degree and Possession of a Controlled substance 1^st Degree (Methamphetamine). Both subjects were lodged at the Grant County Detention Center. The case is currently under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
