Robbery and Home Invasion in Milton, Ky

(Campbellsburg, Ky.) -- On Thursday, May 21, 2009 at approximately 5:40 a.m. the Kentucky State Police responded to a robbery and home invasion in Milton, Kentucky. Two suspects reportedly gained entrance to the residence by forcing the rear door open. During the robbery the home owner Ed Snell was assaulted by the suspects when he was sprayed in the face by an unidentified noxious substance. The two suspects fled the scene on foot.

Through the course of investigation Christopher Burgan from Bedford, Kentucky was located and charged with one count of complicity to commit robbery, first degree. While conducting further investigation at a residence in Bedford, Kentucky during an attempt to locate a second suspect several items used in manufacturing methamphetamine was located. An arrest warrant has been issued for Robert Lee Valentine from Bedford, Kentucky.

Officers with the Trimble County Sheriff's Department and Kentucky State Police assisted with the investigation.

The case is currently under investigation by Trooper Michael Webb with the Kentucky State Police.
