One Killed in a Two Vehicle Collision on Ky 1239

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police responded to a two vehicle injury accident on Ky 1239 in the Midway area of Meade County. U/1, a 1997 Ford Contour driven by Tyler Sexton, WM, 23 of Rhodelia, Ky., was traveling southbound on Ky1239. U/2, a 1995 Ford F350 driven by Robert Hardin, WM, 27 of Irvington, Ky. was traveling northbound. Mr. Sexton's vehicle came around a curve to the right and lost control on the wet roadway and crossed the centerline and struck Mr. Hardin's vehicle.

A passenger in Mr. Sexton's vehicle, Donna Sexton, WF, 46 of Rhodelia was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Meade County coroner. Accident is being investigated by Trooper Sam Shacklette with the Kentucky State Police.
