Injury Collision on I-65

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) -- Duane Welch of Eau Galle, WI and Momcilo Bogdanouie of Lyons, IL were stopped on I-65 at the 76 Mile-Marker south bound due to an accident at the 73 Mile-Marker south bound. Duane Welch's tractor trailer came over a grade and was unable to stop. Duane Welch's tractor trailer struck Momcilo Bogdanouie's tractor trailer in the rear causing Momcilo Bogdanouie's tractor trailer to strike Alejandro Ayala's tractor trailer in the rear. Duane Welch's tractor trailer and Momcilo Bogdanouie's tractor trailer both caught fire. Driver of Duane Welch was transported to University of Louisville Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Momcilo Bogdanouie was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Alejandro Ayala of Hilalgo, TX was not injured.
