Injury Collision on Ky 1600 in Hardin County

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) - Jessica L. Christie was driving a 1994 Ford pickup and was westbound on Ky 1600. Jennifer L. Hornback was driving a 1991 Mazda pickup and was eastbound on Ky 1600. Ms. Christie was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control in the curve. Ms. Christie overcorrected and crossed into the eastbound lane striking Ms. Hornback' vehicle head on. Ms. Hornback was air lifted to University Hospital via Life Net.
