Shooting Investigation in Edmonson County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- On 12/13/2009 the Kentucky State Police Post 3 was requested to respond to Jock Road by Edmonson County Sheriff's Department. Upon units arrival there was a 2 year old female that received a single gun shot wound to the head. The victim was taken to the Bowling Green Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead. There are no further details available. The investigation is ongoing by Kentucky State Police. An autopsy will be performed tomorrow (12/14/2009) morning in Louisville.
