Three Bodies in a Field Off of Happy Valley Road

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- On Sunday, November 22, 2009, The Kentucky State Police was notified by the Barren County Sheriffs Department regarding the discovery of three bodies in a field off of Happy Valley Road (KY 90), approximately one-half mile east of Cave City. Foul play is suspected. Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation, limited information is being released at this time.

The bodies were removed by the Barren-Metcalfe Ambulance Service and transported to the Medical Examiners office in Louisville where an autopsy is going to be performed early Monday.

The Barren County Sheriffs Department and the Barren-Metcalfe Ambulance Service also assisted in the investigation.
