2 Injured in a Two Vehicle Collision in Simpson County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- Lana Flood and Ivan Turner were traveling southbound near the 11 mile marker, Ms. Flood' vehicle was traveling directly behind Mr. Turner's vehicle. A vehicle not involved in the collision spun out in front of Mr. Turner's vehicle causing Mr. Turner to brake to avoid a collision. Ms. Flood was unable to stop in time causing Ms. Flood's vehicle to collide with back of Mr. Turner's vehicle. The passenger (Shayna Hardin) of Ms. Flood's vehicle was removed by mechanical means. Both occupants were transported by EMS to the Bowling Green Medical Center to be treated for their injuries.
