Assault Investigation and Arrest in Warren County
Date of News Release: 09/26/2009
(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- At 2358 hours, Kentucky State Police received a complaint from Med-Com that Terry Henderson of Warren County had been assaulted with a baseball bat at Beech Bend Park. Security personnel at the park were unable to locate Mr. Henderson and no charges were filed. At 0041 hrs., Post 3 received a call from the Medical Center emergency room stating that Morgan Christie of Glasgow had been admitted with a gunshot wound to his leg. After Troopers contacted Mr. Christie at the hospital, he refused to cooperate with the investigation and would not identify his assailant. Post 3 Troopers then spoke to a female subject, who admitted to shooting Mr. Christie. According to the female, several members of the Outlaw Motorcycle Gang surrounded her fiancee, Mr. Henderson, and one of the gang members, Mr. Christie, beat Mr. Henderson about his head with a bat. In an effort to defend Mr. Henderson, the female then shot Mr. Christie in the leg with a handgun. Mr. Henderson was located and transported to the Medical Center in Bowling Green to receive treatment for injuries to his head. Morgan Christie was arrested and then lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail for one (1) count of Assault-1st Degree. This incident remains under investigation by Trooper Matt Allen.
