Three Men Arrested on Drug Charges in Hart County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- On Wednesday, 09-16-09, Kentucky State Police Troopers responded to a complaint of drug activity at a residence in Canmer in Hart County. Upon arriving at the residence, a booby trapped marijuana plant was located to the rear of the house. A search warrant was then obtained to search the property, and a several illegal items were seized. There was an active indoor marijuana grow inside the residence as well as processed marijuana inside the house. Evidence of marijuana being trafficked both inside the house and in the adjacent building was found. There were also items of methamphetamine, meth precursors, equipment to manufacture methamphetamine, evidence of a meth lab, and drug paraphernalia located. Arrested was 45 year old Mark Jaggers for Manufacturing Meth, 1st Offense, Possession of Anhydrous Ammonia in an Unapproved Container with the Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Possession of Meth Precursors 1st Offense, Possession of a Booby Trap Device, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (drug unspecified), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Marijuana, Trafficking in Marijuana (Less than 8 oz.) 1st Offense, and two counts of Cultivating Marijuana (Less than 5 Plants). All of these charges are enhanced by Jaggers' possession of a handgun. Richard Jaggers has been charged with Trafficking in Marijuana (Less than 8 Ounces) 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Offense, and Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree. Larry Jaggers has been charged with Trafficking in Marijuana (Less than 8 Ounces) 1st Offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense. Mark and Richard Jaggers were lodged in the Hart County Jail, and Larry Jaggers has been cited to court. Over 100 pieces of evidence were seized from this scene which originated from a citizen's complaint.
