Two Injured in a Collision the William Natcher Parkway

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- Martin Fanning was traveling north on the William Natcher Parkway when he stated he had a flat tire. Charles W. Roe was also traveling north on the William Natcher Parkway in the right lane. According to the passenger of Mr. Roe's vehicle, Mr. Martin's vehicle was moving from the left lane to the right in an apparent attempt to get to the emergency lane. Mr. Martin's vehicle turned into the path of Mr. Roe's vehicle and sideswipe the vehicle. Mr. Martin's vehicle came to final rest in the left hand lane of the parkway. Mr. Roe's vehicle continued traveling across the median and both southbound lanes before coming to final rest on the south shoulder. Martin Fanning was taken to the medical center by MEDCOM and is listed in stable condition. Charles W. Roe was flown to the University of Vanderbilt Hospital by air EVAC where he is listed in stable condition. This accident remains under investigation by Trooper Derek Grant.
