Rape Investigation and Arrest in Warren County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- On September 10, 2009 Kentucky State Police received information about a juvenile seeking treatment at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. The juvenile stated that she was raped by Charles Stowers. Detective Scott Skaggs completed an initial investigation and a warrant was issued for Mr. Stowers' arrest. Numerous attempts were made to locate Mr. Stowers and on September 15, 2009, Mr. Stowers was interviewed by the State Police and subsequently arrested on the charge of Rape 1st Degree. Mr. Stowers is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
