Fatal Collision on Lonake Road in Hart County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- Justin Logsdon was going westbound on Lonoke Road. Leigh Ann Workman was approaching Mr. Logsdon's vehicle while heading eastbound. Mr. Logsdon's vehicle entered into the apex of a slight right hand curve and failed to negotiate the curve. Mr. Logsdon's vehicle then crossed the center yellow line, striking Ms. Workman's vehicle nearly head on. Upon impact, Mr. Logsdon's vehicle entered into a counter clockwise spin and exited the westbound shoulder of the roadway facing northeast. Ms. Workman's vehicle exited the eastbound shoulder of the roadway and came to final rest facing westbound. Mr. Justin Logsdon was pronounced deceased at the scene. Ms. Workman and passenger (Marcus G. Workman) were transported to TJ Samson for non life threatening injuries. Investigation is ongoing.
