Murder Investigation & Arrest in Edmonson County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police Post 3 was called to 3999 Brownsville Road by the Edmonson County Coroners Office to investigate a death. Upon arrival, units located Lucille Y. Wells 69 year old of Brownsville, Ky. with a single gunshot wound which was determined to be a homicide. Kentucky State Police, Edmonson County Sheriff Office, and Warren County Sheriff Office located Mr. Ricky A. Wells, who was taken into custody and later charged with murder. Mr. Wells is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
