Fatal Collision on I-65 in Hart County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- Russell Noble was driving a tractor trailer & was traveling northbound in the right lane of I-65 and was slowing down due to roadway construction on the Green River Bridge. Randal Mitchell was driving a tractor trailer & was traveling northbound in the right lane of I-65 approaching the rear of Mr. Noble's trailer. As Mr. Mitchell continued traveling toward Mr. Noble's vehicle, Mr. Mitchell did not realize that Mr. Noble's vehicle was slowing down. The front end of Mr. Mitchell's vehicle then collided with Mr. Noble's trailer. Randal Mitchell was fatally injured upon impact and was pronounced dead by Hart County Coroner Jeff Roten.
