Marijuana Arrest in Hart County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- On 06/20/2009 the Kentucky State Police in Bowling Green received information of possible drug activity at 2856 Rowletts Cave Springs Road. Upon arrival Troopers made contact with the property owners in which consent was given to search the property for alleged marijuana cultivation. A search of the property resulted in locating nine suspected marijuana plants. The Troopers seized the suspected marijuana plants as well as 15 firearms. Both property owners (George Meadows age 30 and Crystal Bush age 27) were apprehended without incident and lodged in the Hart County Jail on a $9500 cash bond. These arrests are results of a criminal investigation conducted by the Kentucky State Police over the course of the last 5 weeks. This investigation continues.
