Injury Collision on I-65 in Hart County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- Dwight J. McCormick II was traveling northbound on I-65 when his vehicle hydroplaned, crossed the median, and collided head-on with Arthur E. Garrett's vehicle. Following the initial impact, Mr. Garrett's vehicle came to final rest in the median, with its trailer blocking both southbound lanes of the interstate near the 73 mile marker. In an attempt to avoid hitting Garrett's trailer, Davon C. Jordan took evasive action and veered toward the right side of the road, impacted with a guard rail, and overturned. Dwight J. McCormick II was transported by EMS to Caverna Hospital to be treated for injuries.
